Sessions are interactive, fun and family friendly, with live coaching and feedback as you practice the skills being taught. Anyone who is going to be living with or actively involved in caring for your puppy is encouraged to come along to classes and learn together. We also have a WhatsApp group for each course to allow further support between the weekly classes.
Puppy School is delighted to be supported by Natures Menu who have been creating food for pets for over 35 years. Each family will receive a free Puppy School Training Manual to support the course, along with discount vouchers from Natures Menu, and a free packs of Natures Menu puppy training treats. The Natures Menu treats and other enrichment and training aids are also available to buy in class.
Puppy School Crawley & Horsham
Puppy School is a national network of reward-based trainers led by internationally renowned dog behaviourist and trainer, Gwen Bailey.
Puppy School Crawley & Horsham run fun, family friendly classes for puppies up to 20 weeks of age, using reward based scientifically proven and effective methods.
For puppies over 20 weeks of age, subject to demand, we will periodically run an 'Older Puppies Puppy School' course, with the same course content, but in smaller groups and adapted as necessary to suit adolescent pups. Alternatively if a group course is not available, then 121 training is available.
The 6 week course includes:
Recall
Loose lead walking
Cooperative handling and understanding dog communication
Socialisation and polite greetings with humans and other dogs
Learning positions sit, lay down, and stand
Enrichment activities and games
and much much more!
MyPuppy School classes run from either:
Tilgate Community Centre, Shackleton Road, Crawley - Tuesday Evenings
or St John's Church Hall, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham - Wednesday Evenings
or Warnham Village Hall, Hollands Way, Warnham, Horsham - Sunday Mornings
The current cost for the 6 week Puppy School group course is £120 + £2 booking fee. From April 2025 it will be £135 + £2 booking fee.

Alternatively I can offer the same 6 week Puppy School course or individual sessions on a particular topic on a 121 basis at your home or other suitable location. Click below to learn more about 121 training.
Following the Puppy School course, we also offer adolescent SuperPup classes and fun Trick Training classes to keep those brains busy in a constructive way!
